Flexigloo

2009
Flexigloo is a mobile warm-up station that moved from line-up to line-up at the 2009 festival Montréal en Lumière for Nuit Blanche in the Quartier des spectacles. The installation of this temporary shelter is an event in itself, with the interaction of performers who transport the structure. Once under the tent, participants will receive a welcome shot of warmth and entertainment with stories and hot cocoa. Flexigloo continues to be in use today.

I constructed the fabric portion of the 10-foot mobile and collapsable structure from 40 metres of nylon fabric, 2000 yards of thread, and over 250 hours.
